The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) has been a part of the Fresno community for over 50 years. In 1987, it started to provide the Tai Chi for Health class to the community as a recreational activity. The Tai Chi Club of Fresno has been a part of CCBA since then.

Over the past three decades, students have learned and practiced the graceful Yang's style Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Sword, Tai Chi Dance, and Tai Chi Fan Dance. Students also enjoyed playing Ping Pong as well. The club has provided a place for people to get together on the weekends to exercise and socialize.

The club have participated and demonstrated Tai Chi forms in many community events. These events included the annual Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) Chinese New Year Celebration, the annual Central California Chinese Cultural Association (CCCCA) Chinese New Year Gala and the annual Tai Chi Chuang Qigong Day San Joaquin Valley.

Sifu Andy WongSifu Andy Wong has been the head teacher for the Tai Chi for Health class since 2012. Sifu Wong has been practicing Tai Chi for over 50 years. He is a well known business man and leader in the several non-profit Chinese organizations.

Over the past several years, Sifu Wong has taught students the 88-form Yang's Style Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Sword, Tai Chi Fan Dance, and Tai Chi Martial Dance. For the 2017-18 year, he is teaching 24-Form Yang's Style Tai Chi Chuan and helping students to improve their Tai Chi movements.
